History shows that since 1913 one bank, the Federal Reserve Bank, created by the Federal Reserve Act, has worked to take over the monetary system in America (watch the video). Questions: Do you think the taxpayers are going to pay for the defense of Ike Carothers? When is Tommy Johnson going to get indicted? How about those vending machines on taxpayer property? What about the businesses Johnson allegedly coersed into giving money for Carothers campaigns in return for services? How about the City of Chicago going after a lady for about $25.00 outstanding in her tax bill. Her name was Campbell. She was a relative of Butch Campbell, the guy that Carothers pistol whipped when he had a gun and was working for the Cook County Sheriff's Department. Carothers is simply a vindictive little putz.
Yes, the next round of bailouts is to purchase more toxic paperwork that the banks have on their books. This paperwork is essentially worthless, but the taxpayers are going to buy it anyway. Does anyone in this administration have common sense or are they all idiots at the wheel?
In case you don't know, the next bailout is for 1 trillion dollars or, written in mathematics, $1,000,000,000,000.00. It is hard to phantom that much money physically laid out on a table because nearly every one of us make, according to stastics, an average of 50,000.
Did you know that the top executives are getting their raises? Yes, the Execs from AIG (American International Group) will receive $165 million in raises, not too long after the $170 billion they received in taxpayers money.
Update: They're going to give half of that back. Wow, an increase in pay of $85,000,000.00. Let's see, the average worker in this country doesn't even get a cost of living increase! Most raises are 1% - 2%, several percentage points below inflation.
This is a slap in the face of every taxpayer in this country who is now on the brink of disaster dealing with much higher food costs, fuel costs, and nearly every other item the taxpayer must purchase. Not only that, many are facing layoffs or have been laid off from work. Wages increases are essentially frozen although many companies are not going to use the term.
As a historical note, the Republican President Richard Nixon froze wages of the American workers back in the late 1960's - early 1970's yet did not freeze prices one must pay for commodities. What's going on right now is very similar. Raises for workers are essentially frozen and prices are on the rise.

First off, before you actually become a candidate for public office, you must circulate your petition. The wording for your petition should be found at the Illinois State Board of Elections (if you are running for office in the State of Illinois).
Second, you or anyone else can potentially challenge another person running for the same office.
Third, the rules for any election are found in the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Chapter 10 - Elections. To view the code that is online, click on this link. Note: This code is not updated regularily in the online version. Of course, one should question why this is so? Also, some of the information is erroneous in that it does not include recent cases that were brought about in the courts.
Fourth, never take a challenge personal, whether you are challenging someone's petition or being challenged.
Fifth, some of the decisions of local boards of elections, such as the Chicago Board of Elections, are really outrageous. For example, I challenged an incumbent because he was running in the wrong election i.e. his petition had the date for the runoff election, not the date of the election itself. He still got on the ballot.
If you circulated your petition properly and verified all your signatures, then there should be no problem. In fact, you have the grounds for a frivolous challenge.
Be aware that when you participate in this you'll appear before a person that is called the Hearing Officer. This is a lawyer that the Chicago Board of Elections hires. This lawyer is NOT an expert in Election Law. In fact, many of them teach law such as contracts, finance, etc.
One should challenge the employment of these lawyers by the Chicago Board of Elections simply because they are not experts in Election Law yet they are making decisions regarding Election Law.
