As of the writing of this letter nearly eight months have passed with no results of indictments or prosecution of the fraudulent activities that occurred in the 29th Ward in the runoff election between Isaac Carothers and Floyd Thomas, nor the104 voter fraud charges that should be brought against Emma Mitts, alderman of the 37th Ward.

We consider your office responsible for the perpetual ineptitude and allowance of the illegally seated aldermen Isaac Carothers and Emma Mitts. Your failure to bring this matter forward and indeed investigate, given all the documentation and research that has been presented to you back in January of this year, gives us no choice but to request information via the Freedom of Information Act, regarding your office. Therefore, we are requesting the following:

1. Complete details of expenditures for the Voter Fraud Unit, also referred to as the Public Integrity Unit, for the time frame January 2000 through today. We are not interested in names of individuals but dollar amounts each receives in salary/wages and benefits.

2. Please provide the above information for yourself.

3. A complete list of any accomplishments the aforementioned unit has completed since its inception in relation to voter fraud. Please be specific as to the year something was accomplished because we simply cannot remember when you prosecuted anybody for voter fraud.

Since this information has nothing to do with any investigatory functions of your office but merely budgetary concerns, we expect this data within the Federally prescribed period of 14 days from receipt - today.
